Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle managed her as she entered her teens. The actress began her career an actress at the age of four old. At the beginning of her career, she performed as an extra on television shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. at the age of 13she was snubbed as Friday in 1995. She first became famous during 1997 due to her performance as Cisely batiste (a troubled teenage girl) in Eve's Bayou, for which she received two nominations, and received her N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good began to take on smaller film and television roles for in the following years and began transitioning into more mature roles during the mid 2000s. Her Nickelodeon TV show Cousins in Skeeter featured her as Nina. The show ran from 1998-2001. In addition, she landed minor roles in the films House Party Down to the last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She played Vanessa Scott's role in the 2003 show My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S an action comedy film which earned her nominations for Best Actress on the Black Movie Awards in 2005.
