Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor best known for playing House in the Fox the medical thriller House. In a very strict Jewish childhood, Lisa Edelstein was able to move from Wayne to New York City when she was 18 to attend Tisch School of Arts. However, very quickly she began to be engaged in the city's nightclub scene, and was able to make enough headlines to be seen by the media and simultaneously, she became aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. In the end, she utilized her education as well her fame to write and compose a musical called Positive Me and was also in the film. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she hosted on MTV was soon her job. After the show was finished, she went on to join the film and TV productions. She started with tiny roles and then established herself slowly as an actor.
